Originally from Southern California, Desert founder Alexandra has always been inspired by the effortless glow and lifestyle of the West Coast. After moving to Amsterdam, she noticed a shift in her self-care routine—her favorite accessory, a sun-kissed tan, became harder to maintain without the California sunshine.

Palm Springs has always held a special place in Alex’s heart, representing relaxation, beauty, self-care, and overall well-being. That influence became the foundation of her brand aesthetic and experience.

Over the years, Alexandra developed a strong passion for the beauty industry, working at two of Los Angeles’ most prominent tanning salons where she was professionally trained in airbrush tanning and worked with high-profile clientele.

Now based in South Florida, Alexandra is reintroducing Desert with a fresh chapter—blending her signature Palm Springs-inspired aesthetic with the lush, sun-drenched energy of the coast.
